Voices of Texas is an interactive, TEKS-aligned instructional activity designed to bring middle school Texas history to life through the use of AI. In this project, students research significant historical figures, craft interview questions, and use AI tools to simulate first-person responses. The project blends historical research, critical thinking, creative writing, and digital literacy—culminating in student-created interview scripts or presentations that explore diverse voices and perspectives from Texas history.

I designed the full activity from concept to classroom implementation, including standards alignment, lesson planning, instructional slide outlines, editable student templates, and product copywriting. I created scaffolded supports to guide students through research, prompting, AI interaction, and historical fact-checking—ensuring the activity supports both content mastery and responsible AI use in the classroom.
